[ 02 // THE PINT ]

Pup pool parties, peach sours, and sip and shop to benefit the dogs

Cahaba Brewing, located in Birmingham AL is set to host a month long partnership events benefitting the Greater Birmingham Humane Society. Later this month, on July 18 there will be an evening market where you can shop, drink good beer, and contribute to the humane society. There will even be a special edition peach sour called “Paws Against the Machine” that you can sip while you shop.

The two companies are teaming up all month long and will have fun, pup-themed events during each Saturday of the month of July, some events include a doggy pool party, pancakes for puppies, and a beer collectible show and vaccine clinic running all day on Saturday July 25.

The coolest thing about this brewery? Each month they partner with a local 501(c)3 organization to bring their causes to light at the front seat of their taproom. A local favorite is “Goodwill Game Nights” where not only are a portion of proceeds donated to the organization, but participants are encouraged to donate to the cause. A brewery that gives back and also has great beer? Hats off to Cahaba.

If you ever find yourself in Birmingham AL, this brewery is a must try. Vibes are high, community is at the forefront, and the pints go down easy. What more could you want from your local brewery? It’s stories like these that keep us seeking and writing each week.
