Good morning and happy Friday!

Yesterday was National IPA Day (more on this later), did you do anything to celebrate? We enjoyed an ice cold Clausthaler NA IPA ourselves.

In this week’s issue:

  • IPA's are the talk of the town

  • Mini-golf and goats at breweries

  • Nothin' says summer like beer, corn, and pro-wrestlin'

Our faves from this week

  • 🐐 Had a baaaad week? Nothing some baby goats, a beer garden hang, and mobile bookstore can't cure. Shoutout New Terrain for this free community event.

  • ⛳️ Taylor House Brewing's second location doubles as a 19th (mini) hole for their brand new mini-golf course and brewery.

  • 🚲 Old Caz celebrates it's new Petaluma location by ceremoniously delivering their OG tap handle via bicycle to the new location.

  • 🤼 What do you get when you combine corn, beer, and pro wrestling. CornSlam at Broken Clock Brewing, apparently. Yeah, we're not sure either but we are intrigued.

  • 🐉 Stout fans and table top gamers rejoice at the return of the Dragon's Milk x Dungeons & Dragons crossover from New Holland Brewing.

IPA's have the spotlight for an entire week in this city

An event after our own hearts! In celebration of National IPA Day on August 6, Petaluma is running a citywide IPA week event where you get a stamp for each IPA sipped. According to the event hosts, the name of the game is “Sip, Stamp, Score” designed for the IPA lovers to sip and stroll all over Petaluma.

We send our deepest gratitude to Ashley Rousten beer enthusiast, for declaring National IPA day as the first Thursday in August fifteen years ago. This gives us yet another reason to celebrate the hoppiest of all pints, the IPA.

Petaluma's local businesses, mayor, and locals alike all have a hand in putting Petaluma and Northern California on the map of the beer scene. And they are definitely capitalizing on that this week. In yet another example of beer bringing people together, IPA week does just that. From the brewmasters, to the bartenders, and down to the locals support-- this event is a fun, creative way to feel connected to the community.

And if IPA's aren't your thing, maybe they should be ;)

Hoppy Holidays, beer lovers!
