In honor of America Craft Beer Week, here's our take on what makes a brewery great

Well folks, it's our favorite time of the year again: America Craft Beer Week! In celebration of this week's festivities, we're reflecting on our favorite spots that raised the bar for the rest. Here's our take on what makes a brewery great.

Michaela's fave: Humble Sea Brewing in Santa Cruz, CA has my heart. Humble Sea embodies what Santa Cruz as a city has to offer: community, beautiful views, and 10/10 vibes.

One of the most beloved things about this spot is the quirky can art (shoutout Kooks, Inc for the iconic Socks and Sandals cans & fun, weird limited release art).

PS Andrew is still learning that socks and Rainbows isn't quite the vibe ;).

If you are ever in the Bay Area, they just opened a Humble Sea taproom in Fishermans Warf in SF.

Aside from the quirky, fun art and just overall good vibes- the beer never misses. Shoutout Humble Sea for being the realest.

Hey there, Andrew here! 7 Devils Brewing in Coos Bay, OR is the spot for me. If you ever have the pleasure of taking a trip up the 101 through the Oregon Coast, you can't miss this one.

Coos Bay is a hidden gem that we got to call home for for a short while, and 7 Devils was our home within that home. Here you can find excellent Oregon beer, great live music and events, and staff that felt like a family to us. (Shoutout to our guy Julian!)

As an added bonus: their always-fresh sea food kept us coming back week after week.

Some beers that you have to try: Chinook Red (seasonal), Spruce Tip IPA, and the classic Spindrift Hazy.
